Why In News?

• On September 17, 2022, the registrar of Madhya Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Alka Srivastava told that the commission's chairman Justice Shantanu S. Under the guidance of Kemkar, on November 12, 2022, Maha Upbhokta Lok Adalat will be organized in all consumer courts at the district level.

• Maha Upbhokta Lok Adalat is being organized on November 12 for speedy redressal of consumer related matters.
• Alka Srivastava said that the process of resolving the cases related to various services and goods including banking, insurance, electricity, medical, telephone, agriculture, automobiles, housing, airlines, railways under consideration in the State Commission and State Consumer Commissions of the state will be done through Maha Upbhokta Lok Adalat.
• It may be recalled that the Brihad Lok Adalat held at the State Consumer Commission and District Consumer Commissions on September 17, 2022 was postponed.
• Maha Upbhokta Lok Adalat is being organized on November 12 for speedy redressal of consumer related matters.
