Launch of 'e-Shraddhanjali' Platform on Haryana Police Web Portal

Why in News?

On June 17, 2022, Haryana Director General of Police Prashant Kumar Agarwal launched the 'e- Shraddhanjali' platform on the Haryana Police Web portal .

Key Points

• The facility, which has been launched on the official website of Haryana Police, has options like Bharat Ke Veer (List of Police Martyrs), user messages, which are to be displayed on the portal, etc.
• Launching the platform, the DGP said that the 'e-Shraddhanjali' facility will provide an online platform for all to remember the contribution of the brave and brave martyred police personnel in strengthening internal security.
• Now, this facility will be available online to all the officers and jawans and other citizens, including other citizens, to pay homage to all the brave and brave police martyrs of Haryana who laid down their lives while marching on the path of duty paralysis after the state of Haryana came into existence from November 1, 1966.
• Citizens can use this facility to pay homage to the brave martyrs of the police by visiting the official website of The Haryana Police www.haryanapolice.gov.in and selecting the 'e-Shraddhanjali' option displayed on the homepage. Users can also write messages to pay homage to the martyrs, which will be further displayed on the webpage.
