Launch of Aadi Karmayogi’s 2nd Regional Process Lab (RPL) in Bhopal
Why in News?
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs launched the second Regional Process Lab (RPL) of the Aadi Karmayogi – National Mission for Responsive Governance in Bhopal.

- Regional Process Lab (RPL):
- The RPL marks the continuation of the Aadi Karmayogi initiative, serving as a strategic platform for capacity building and convergence in tribal welfare.
- State Master Trainers (SMTs) from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh are being trained at the RPL in Bhopal.
- Seven such RPLs will be conducted between July and August 2025, further solidifying the mission's goals and reach.
- RPL Structure: The RPL follows a cascading capacity-building model:
- State Master Trainers (SMTs) are trained at the RPL.
- SMTs then lead State Process Labs (SPLs), which train District Master Trainers (DMTs).
- Civil society organizations (CSOs) are integrated to ensure participatory learning and local contextualization.
- Aadi KARMAYOGI:
- About: It is a National Mission for Responsive Governance, designed to build a cadre of 20 lakh tribal grassroots functionaries and village-level change leaders, who will drive inclusive development and strengthen last-mile service delivery in tribal areas.
- The mission aligns with Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyaan (PM JANMAN) and Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), emphasizing convergence, community involvement, and capability enhancement.
- The mission advocates for responsive governance through bottom-up visioning, real-time grievance redressal, and collaborative implementation.
- It promotes convergence across key ministries and departments, including Tribal Affairs, Rural Development, Women and Child Development, Jal Shakti, Education, and Forests.

MP Cabinet Approves Key Development Projects and Schemes
Why in News?
The Madhya Pradesh Cabinet approved several significant initiatives aimed at modernizing the state’s power infrastructure and enhancing data transparency.
Key Points
- Renovation and Modernization of Hydroelectric Plants: The Cabinet sanctioned the renovation and modernization of Gandhi Sagar Plant (115 MW) and Rana Pratap Sagar Plant (175 MW)(in Rajasthan) under the Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited.
- Both projects will be funded equally by Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan in a 50:50 ratio, with Madhya Pradesh’s share amounting to Rs 127.06 crore.
- Introduction of the 'Data Strengthening Scheme': In a bid to improve governance and policy-making, the Cabinet approved a new 'Data Strengthening Scheme' under the Planning, Economics, and Statistics Department. The scheme aims to ensure:
- Timely collection and analysis of statistical data.
- Enhanced transparency and efficiency across departments.
- Easier access for independent researchers and policymakers, enabling them to design new schemes and reforms.
- Increased investor confidence due to the availability of reliable data.
- Rebate on Motor Vehicle Tax at Vikramotsav Trade Fair 2025: The Cabinet approved the Transport Department’s notifications for the Vikramotsav Trade Fair 2025 in Ujjain.
- A 50% rebate on lifetime motor vehicle tax for non-transport vehicles (motorcycles, cars, omni buses for private use), and light transport vehicles sold at the fair.
- Rebate on Motor Vehicle Sales at Gwalior Trade Fair 2024-25: The Cabinet also endorsed a similar 50% tax rebate on motor vehicle sales during the Gwalior Trade Fair 2024-25, as per the Transport Department’s notification dated 14 January 2025.
