In a significant administrative shift, Pratyaya Amrit, a 1991 batch IAS officer from Bihar, has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Bihar, succeeding Amrit Lal Meena, who will retire on 31st August 2025.
Pratyaya will officially assume charge on 1st September 2025.
