- The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has announced to run a Rescue Campaign to make Jaipur city free from begging.

- This rescue campaign will be started from September 7, 2021.
- This campaign will be run by Rajasthan Social Justice and Empowerment Department, with an aim to make Jaipur city free from begging and to rehabilitate beggars.
- Under this campaign, arrangements will be made for beggars’ accommodation, food and rehabilitation by taking them to the four designated centers of the city.
- Workable beggars will be provided jobs for livelihood by providing them skills.
- Children indulging in begging will be sent to Balika Griha and Bal Griha and monks above 60 years of age will be sent to Old Age Home.
