Why In News?
- On February 28, 2023, Rajasthan's Art, Literature and Culture Minister Dr. B.D. Kalla told that regular publication of monthly magazine Madhumati is being done by Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi.

- Art, Literature and Culture Minister Dr. B.D. Kalla told that after publishing 48 issues of this magazine, the e-book has been uploaded on the website of the Academy.
- Madhumati issues contain articles of famous litterateurs and great men from all over the country and Rajasthan. Apart from this, if an article of a foreign language has also come, then its translation has also been published.
- Dr. B.D. Kalla said that the book 'Gandhi Sabad Nirantar' has also been published by the Academy.
- It is noteworthy that Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi was established on January 28, 1958. During the year 2013 to 2017 no work has been done by Rajasthan Sahitya Akademi Udaipur for translation of literature of other Indian languages and foreign languages.
