Why in News?
The Government of Punjab has launched the Mukhya Mantri Roshan Punjab Yojana to install solar-powered LED streetlights in villages to improve safety, rural infrastructure, and economic activity.

- Scheme: The Mukhya Mantri Roshan Punjab Yojana is a rural lighting initiative aimed at installing solar LED streetlights across villages in Punjab to improve security and living conditions.
