Why in News?

The Madhya Pradesh Tech Growth Conclave 2.0 will be held on 13th November 2025 at the Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore.

  • The first edition, Tech Growth Conclave 1.0 (April 2025), was a major success, generating investment proposals worth ₹20,000 crore and creating over 75,000 jobs.

  • About: Organized by the Department of Science and Technology, the conclave will outline the roadmap for the next phase of Madhya Pradesh’s technological and industrial progress.
  • Objectives:

    • Position Madhya Pradesh as a global technology hub.
    • Unveil the state’s “Technology-First Economy Vision”, which focuses on inclusive economic growth through innovation, skill, and entrepreneurship.
    • Highlight the role of Tier-2 cities like Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, and Jabalpur as emerging centers for technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

    • Bring momentum to the state’s technological ecosystem through investment, innovation, and collaboration.

    • Provide a platform for global investors, industry leaders, and policy makers to collaborate and drive growth.

  • Theme of the Event:  “Powering Tier-2, Propelling India”

    Sessions:

    • MP GCC Leadership Connect: Over 30 Global Capability Centers (GCCs) will participate, focusing on positioning Madhya Pradesh as a preferred destination for GCCs, with a vision document to guide the state’s long-term technology strategy.
    • Drone Roundtable: A session with policymakers, industry experts, and drone innovators will explore expanding the drone ecosystem, manufacturing opportunities, and the use of drone technology in government services and industries.
  • Policy Announcements: The Department of Science and Technology will announce new digital policies and initiatives focused on promoting innovation, skill development, attracting investment, and strengthening Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in Madhya Pradesh's technology sectors.
