Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah addressed the Krishak Sammelan in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh on 25 December 2025.

- Focus Area: Emphasis on natural farming as a sustainable agricultural practice.
- Model Farm: Basavan Mama Govansh Van Vihar (a model farm and training centre in Rewa) highlighted as a successful natural farming model benefiting small and marginal farmers.
- Natural Farming: As per NITI Aayog, Natural Farming is “a chemical-free traditional farming method” rooted in agroecological principles integrating crops, trees, livestock, and functional biodiversity.
- Benefits of Natural Farming: Increase farmers’ income, conserves water, and produces healthy crops without chemical inputs.
- Certification & Market Access: Ministry of Cooperation has set up two large cooperatives to certify, test, pack, market and export organic produce.
- National Cooperative Organics Limited (NCOL): Focuses on organic produce marketing, certification, testing, packaging and branding.
- National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL): Focuses on exporting cooperative sector products and boosting foreign demand.
- Lab Network: Plan to expand 400 laboratories nationwide.
