CM Inaugurated the Country's Largest Laundry in NMCH

Why In News?
On September 15, 2023, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched the country's largest integrated laundry facility at Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH).
Key Points:
- This unit is the largest and first unit in the country as well as Bihar. Its capacity is 12-14 tonnes per day.
- Here, sheets, towels and other clothes of health institutions like PMC HNMCH Indira Gandhi Heart Disease Institute will be washed together. It is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.
- For quality cleaning here, the Health Department has entrusted the responsibility of operation to the Quick Clean Agency.
- On this occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a 100-bed field hospital building constructed with prefab technology in the NMCH campus.
