- On July 3, 2022, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the newly constructed 'Jhumka Island' in the middle of Jhumka reservoir of Korea district.

- It is worth mentioning that Jhumka Reservoir is located in Baikunthpur town of Korea District.
- The picturesque island surrounded by water on all sides in Jhumka Reservoir was in a desolate condition earlier. It has been given an attractive look after one and a half months of hard work and it has been made a new tourism destination of Korea District.
