- On November 2, 2021, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia flagged off the first direct flight of Indigo Airlines on Bhopal-Raipur route at Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal.

- Rakesh Ranjan Sahai, director of Raipur's Swami Vivekananda Airport, said the flight would operate three days a week- Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- The flight from Bhopal will leave at 10.15 am and will reach Raipur at 12 noon. The flight will leave from Raipur at 12.20 pm and will reach Bhopal at 1.35 pm.
- 59 passengers left from Bhopal and 63 from Raipur on the first day.
