- Chhattisgarh lost 47-42 to Karnataka in a challenging match in their quarter-finals. Chhattisgarh's girls' team defeated Kerala 41-35 to finish fifth in the sub-junior nationals.
- The Chhattisgarh Junior National Girls Basketball Team consisted of Asha (Captain), Antara, Divya, Sara, Reha, Amudini, Devika, Aastha Soni, Chhavi, Shubhangi, Aksara, Jenny.
- It is noteworthy that in this competition, the Chhattisgarh girls team defeated strong teams like Kerala, Gujarat, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan and Goa.
- The girls performed excellently and made a place in the upper class category by taking long jump from 11th position to 5th position in the country, which will help them a lot in the upcoming national competitions.
