State- Level online Lottery drawn under Krishak Uphar Yojana

Why in News?
On 19 April 2023, under the chairmanship of Principal Government Secretary Agriculture and Horticulture Dinesh Kumar, the state-level online lottery was conducted by the Agriculture Marketing Department under the Krishak Uphaar Yojana at Krishi Pant Bhavan.
Key Points
- Under the scheme, farmer Pradeep of Bhavani Mandi, Kota block got the first prize of Rs. 2 lakh 50 thousand, Jaswant of Goluwada Mandi, Hanumangarh block got the second prize of Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand & Mohanlal, a farmer of Hanumangarh market, got the third prize of Rs 1 lakh.
- State level lottery is conducted once in a year, in which there are Chief Government Secretary Agriculture Department-Chairman, Administrator Rajasthan State Agricultural Marketing Board-Member and Director Agriculture Marketing Department-Member Secretary.
- The software of the National Informatics Center drew the state-level lottery for the year 2022.
