- NTPC Lara, located in Raigad district of Chhattisgarh was awarded the Safety Innovation Award, 2021 by the Institution of Engineers, Safety and Quality Forum, New Delhi at the 18th Safety Convention.

- Lara Super Thermal Power Station is a coal based power plant located near village Lara, Taluk Pusor in Raigad District of Chhattisgarh. It has an installed capacity of 1600 MW. The major feature of this plant is 800 MW super critical technology.
