- On February 28, 2022, National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi, district hospitals at Raipur, Kanker and Surajpur in Chhattisgarh have been recognized for the two-year post MBBS diploma course DNB.
Key Points
- Due to the presence of specialist doctors and quality treatment in district hospitals, there is a steady increase in the number of seats for DNB courses in the state.
- It is noteworthy that recently, Durg district hospital was also recognized by the National Board of Examinations for DNB courses for two seats each in ENT (nose, ear, throat) and pediatrics.
- With this, Durg District Hospital became the first institute in Chhattisgarh to get recognition for DNB course.
- All these hospitals have been given permission for this course for five years.
