- On November 3, 2021, the fifth Deepotsav was organized on the banks of Saryu in Ayodhya in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Key Points
- The present government has been organizing Deepotsav every year on the occasion of Chhoti Deepawali since the year 2017.
- 11 lakh 90 thousand lamps were lit in the fifth Deepotsav organized this time, out of which the world record of 9 lakh 54 thousand burning lamps was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.
- On the occasion of Deepotsav, the Chief Minister announced to give free ration till Holi to Antyodaya and BPL card holders.
