- On August 14, 2021, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Lachhiwala Nature Park in Dehradun.

- Appreciating the park, he said that budgetary provision would be made for the second phase of work on the nature park.
- On this occasion a laser and sound show was organized and an Amrit Mahotsav song was also released.
- State Forest Minister Harak Singh Rawat said that Lachhiwala Nature Park is unique and will attract tourists from all over India and abroad.
