Why In News?

  • On December 10, 2022 Rajasthan Governor and Chancellor Kalraj Mishra inaugurated the Yogsadhana Bhavan and laid the foundation stone of Navagraha-Nakshatra Vatika being prepared on the basis of Constitution Park and scientific basis by unveiling the plaques at Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University in Jaipur.

  • Bhopal: Governor Kalraj Mishra has called for connecting the new generation with yogic routine to avoid the ill effects of modern lifestyle and said that yoga is the biggest medium of self-development, yoga is most useful for mental peace and contentment in the era of materiality .
  • He said that after coming to Rajasthan, it has been his priority to set up Constitution Parks in all the funded universities of the state, so that future citizens are connected to the life values given by the Constitution and they are aware of the fundamental duties along with the rights.
  • He informed that the newly constructed Yogsadhana Bhavan in the university will be developed as a center for classical study of yoga, where modern knowledge related to the scriptures related to yoga and the great heritage of yoga Hindi can be translated from Sanskrit and made available in other languages.
  • Navagraha-Nakshatra Vatika being built in the university will easily explain mythological research and findings related to astrology and will also connect students with the culture of environmental protection.
  • On this occasion, the Governor also released the book of Navagraha-Nakshatra Vatika.
  • Sanskrit Education Minister Dr. B.D. Kalla said that India's prestige in the world is due to Sanskrit language and our culture and the state government is making extensive efforts to upgrade Sanskrit language in Rajasthan.
