- Recently North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA) has been awarded 'Organization of the Year' at the 10th Annual Global Community Oscar Awards ceremony held in Chicago.
Key Points
- This is the first award that NACHA has received from senior US political leader Danny Kay Davis and Amex Leadership.
- It has been selected in view of the rapid growth of Chhattisgarhi NRI Association of the Year.
- Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel congratulated all the members of NACHA on being honored with the Global Community Oscar Award.
- The Community Global Awards are sponsored by senior US Congressman (House of Representatives) Danny Davis, along with international organizations the American Multi-Ethnic Coalition and the Multi-Ethnic American Task Force.
- It is worth mentioning that Nacha was started in Chicago in 2017 to promote Chhattisgarh heritage and culture outside India and now it is an international brand and many programs have been launched to promote the state and support the Chhattisgarh community at the global level.
