Chief Minister Laid the Foundation Stone of 251 Schemes

Why in News?
- On July 6, 2022, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren inaugurated the important schemes of the State Government at Godda College, Godda, laying the foundation stone and distribution of assets among the beneficiaries.
Key Points
- At the function, the Chief Minister inaugurated the new crematorium built at a cost of Rs 3835.00 lakh and laid the foundation stone of Godda Police Line to be built at a cost of Rs 5801.90 lakh.
- A total of 17 schemes were inaugurated by the Chief Minister, with a total cost of Rs 5168.80 lakh, while he laid the foundation stone of 251 schemes, at a total cost of Rs 15397.84 lakh.
- Apart from this, the Chief Minister also distributed assets worth Rs 1316.28 lac under various public welfare schemes of the government among the 1345 beneficiaries.
- Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that model schools will also be set up in blocks and panchayats of the state, which will have all the facilities like private schools.
