- On November 1, 2021, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel announced to organize Chhattisgarh Lok Sahitya Kala and Yuva Mahotsav every year on the lines of tribal festivals to promote Chhattisgarhi art and culture on the occasion of State Foundation Day.
Key Points
- The celebration of this festival will start from January 12, 2022, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda (National Youth Day), which will last for three days.
- In this festival, litterateurs of all folk languages and dialects including Chhattisgarhi, Halbi, Gondi, Kudukh, Sarguji will be provided a big platform, while Pandwani, Bharthari, Sua and Panthi as well as folk artists of ancient dance and dance will also get a platform.
