Why In News?
Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro has been awarded the 'Global School Award 2023' in the category of providing innovation-based better educational environment and holistic development of students.
Key Points:
- Anjani Bhushan, vice-principal of the school, received the award on behalf of the school during a global felicitation ceremony organized by AKS Education Awards in New Delhi.
- Delegates from 70 countries participated in the event, where educational institutions, teachers and other stakeholders were felicitated in various categories. Among them, only DPS Bokaro from Jharkhand got the opportunity to get the Global School Award.
- Its official announcement was made in a special assembly held at the vidyalaya on November 29. The Vice Principal congratulated Principal Dr. A.S. The award was presented to Gangwar.
