It is located near the Hooghly River, Howrah district, West Bengal. The building of Belur math represents the fusion of Hindu, Islamic, Buddhist and Christian styles of architecture.

    Odisha. The Nalabana bird sanctuary is located on Nalabana Island in the Chilika lagoon area in Odisha. It is the core area of Chilika. The large Nalabana Island (Forest of Reeds) covering about 16sq km was declared a bird sanctuary in 1987. Nalabana and Mangalajodi (on the banks of Chilika lake) are the two major places in Chilika where the birds congregate.

    Gujarat. The world's second tallest statue of Gautam Buddha is proposed to be built in Devni Mori, Sabarkantha district, Gujarat. The most important discovery from the site was a 1,700-year-old casket which has bodily relics of Buddha.
