Drishti Mentorship Programme (Integrated)-2024

DMP (I)-2024 is an 80 days exclusive Mentorship Programme meticulously designed to empower aspirants preparing for UPSC Civil Services Examination-2024. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the trends of questions asked from 2013 to 2023 (Prelims and Mains), this Programme places a strong emphasis on concept building, in-depth analysis, revision and rigorous answer-writing practice, covering the Prelims and Mains syllabus at least twice in a targeted and strategic manner.

Highlights of The Programme:

  • Synergy Between Prelims and Mains: DMP (I)-2024 will ensure a seamless synergy between Prelims’ factual information and Mains' analytical approach in an easy and manageable format.

  • Day-wise Study Plan: Students will get a dedicated day-wise plan meticulously crafted to comprehensively cover the syllabus of Mains Specific GS Subjects (like Ethics, Governance, Internal Security, Society, etc.), Essay, Optional Subjects (Hindi Literature, History, PSIR, Public Administration, Geography, Philosophy, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology and Law), Current Affairs and CSAT including Prelims syllabus as well.

  • Mode:
    • Offline: A student participating in this course through offline mode can attend our Library, meet a mentor, take tests and also attend doubt solving sessions in offline mode.

    • Online: On the other hand, for students joining in online mode, these facilities (except library) will be available on Drishti Learning App or through zoom meetings/messaging services.

  • Strategic Mentorship: Students will receive regular strategic mentoring sessions through classroom discussions, group discussions and one to one mentorship.

  • Doubt Solving Sessions: Mentors will be available with the aspirants for their specific subject related queries as well as other academic concerns.

  • Medium: The Programme is available in both Hindi and English mediums, catering to a diverse range of candidates.

  • Library Access: Candidates enrolled in this programme will avail complimentary access to well-equipped libraries at our different centres, fostering an ideal environment for focused study.

  • Facilities Available in this Programme

    1. Subject-wise Daily Schedule and Tests:
      • The programme is designed in such a way that a candidate can revise the whole prelims and specific mains syllabus at least twice in a comprehensive manner.
      • Daily study plan for each subject including CSAT with regular tests and value added material.
      • Coverage of basic NCERTs, Drishti Notes and standard reference books.
      • Students will be given access to Drishti Prelims Test Series-2024.
      • Weekly Tests of both Prelims & Mains (GS, CSAT and Optional subjects).
    2. Mentors Facility:
      • Regular One to One Mentoring Sessions.
      • Test Discussions & Doubt Clearing Sessions.
      • GS+CSAT mentors will be available for students in the library.
      • Mains related strategy discussions with special focus on answer writing skill development.
    3. Availability of Library:
      • The candidates who will clear the DMP (I)-2024 Induction Test will get access to the library facility at the respective centres in different shifts, as per the availability of seats.
    4. Note-1:

      • For Non-Drishti Students, the facility of library (Offline Mentorship) is available only at Karol Bagh, Prayagraj, Jaipur and Lucknow Centre.
      • While filling the Registration Form for DMP (I) 2024, the candidate must note that the Examination Centre chosen by him/her will be deemed to be the choice of Library Centre that he/she wants to attend.

    5. Programme Duration
      • The DMP (I) 2024 Programme will run from 23 October 2023 to 14 January 2024 in integrated format, both for Prelims and Mains examination.
    6. Note-2: For the Programmes to be run after this-

      1. Mid January to May 2024: Only those students will be admitted to Drishti Mentorship Programme (Prelims)-DMPP 2024 (Prelims Exam Special) whose performance (in tests, punctuality and remarks of mentors) matches the criteria prescribed by the management.
      2. June to September 2024: Only those students who qualify the UPSC Civil Services Prelims Examination-2024 will be admitted to Drishti Mentorship Programme (Mains)-DMPM 2024 (Main Examination Special).

Selection Process

  1. Induction Test
  • To ensure a fair and transparent selection process, we have scheduled an offline induction test on 8th October 2023, for the selection of students to DMP(I) 2024.
  • The eligible students have to appear for an induction test to get admission in the programme.
  • Eligibility for DMP (I)-2024 Induction Test

  • Drishti GS Foundation Batch (Offline/Online mode/Pendrive Foundation) or Optional Subject students are deemed to be eligible for DMP (I)-2024 subject to their registration for the Induction Test.
  • Registration Process
    • The eligible students Drishti and Non-Drishti are requested to apply by clicking on this Click Here. Post registration, the student will receive an admit card for appearing in the Induction Test. Your admission to the Mentorship Programme is subject to your qualification of the Induction Test.
    • The Registration Form for the Mentorship Induction Test is free of cost and can be filled only in online mode on our website.
      • Registration Starts: 30th September 2023
      • Last date for Registration: 5th October 2023 Till 11:59 PM.

    • Admit Card:
      • After registration the student will get the PDF of the registration form (Admit Card). The registration/roll number of the student will also be written on it. This document will be considered as the admit card for the examination.
      • The student will have to bring a printout of the registration form and his/her Drishti Identity Card along with Govt ID. for the examination.

    • Declaration of Result:
      • The result of the Induction Test will be declared between the 16th to 20th Oct 2023 on Drishti website.
      • Important information regarding result:
        • Candidates from disadvantaged sections who are given reservation in the Civil Services Examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, efforts will be made to provide them at least that proportion of chance to join the Mentorship Programme (this will not be mandatory in case of lack of quality). For example, every effort will be made to ensure representation of Scheduled Castes (15%), Scheduled Tribes (7.5%), Other Backward Classes (27%) and Economically Weaker Sections (10%).
          Kindly note, this reservation policy is applicable only in case of Drishti students taking admission by qualifying the induction test.

    Discipline and Rules

    The Mentorship Programme will be organised on the basis of a Daily Study Schedule given to the students. Only those students who demonstrate discipline and commitment will make it to the end. The Mentorship programme demands hard work and strict discipline from the students which will be helpful for them in achieving their goals easily. Candidates enrolled in this programme must meet the following conditions:

    1. They will have to appear in all the tests of the programme. 90% attendance in the tests is a benchmark accepted under the programme.
    2. They will be eligible to appear in the next test only if they have appeared in the previous test. Only in rare circumstances, they will be given additional time to appear in the test.
    3. If it is found that a student is not taking the programme seriously in terms of attendance, performance or participation of the students, he/she will be warned. If there is no improvement, the management reserves the right to de-register the student from the programme.
    4. Any further clarifications on these rules will be provided to you during the programme.

    Note-4: In order to continue as a part of this programme, the candidates will have to prove their seriousness in regular examinations. If they do not fulfill the disciplinary rules of this programme then the management shall reserve the right to dispel such students from this programme.

    Pattern of Induction Test and Instructions:

    • All questions in the test will be of 2 marks each.
    • Penalty for wrong answers: There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by a candidate in all the questions.
      • There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer is given by the candidate, one-third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.
      • If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be the same penalty as above to that question.
      • If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
    • The question paper will be prepared in both Hindi and English languages. In case of any dispute over the question, the question in the English language will be considered as final.
      1. Direct Access to DMP (I)-2024
    • The following category of students can avail direct access to the DMP (I)-2024 programme if they fulfil any of the categories given below:
      • The students who appeared for the Mains examination of both UPSC CSE 2022 and UPSC CSE 2023.
      • The students who appeared for UPSC CSE Interview-2022.
      • Candidates of Drishti Mentorship Programme (Mains)-2023 (Prelims Qualified) are eligible for direct entry to the Drishti Mentorship Programme (Integrated)-2024.
    • Students who fit the above criteria are requested to visit our offline centres/fill out an admission form with the required documents to prove their qualification for the same from 9th of October 2023.
      1. Availability of DMP (I)-2024 as a Paid Programme
        • For Non-Drishti Students:
          • Non-Drishti students can apply for DMP (I)-2024. This facility for them is available at Karol Bagh, Prayagraj and Lucknow centre (English Medium).
          • A one time admission fee will be charged to Non-Drishti students.
            • The fee structure for Non-Drishti students has been mentioned in the table given below.
        • Admissions of Non-Drishti Students will start from the 9th of October 2023 at our different Centres.
