Toll Free Child Helpline Number | 17 Nov 2021

On November 15, 2021, Chhattisgarh launched a toll free child helpline number 1800-123-6010 at an event on child protection organized by the Crime Research Department, Police Headquarters and UNICEF.

On this occasion a booklet on juvenile delinquency was released and police officers who did excellent work in child protection were felicitated.
Nine videos based on child safety were shown on the occasion. Painting and painting competition was also organized.
It is noteworthy that to mark Children's Day, a statewide 'Child Safety Week' has been started. It aims to make parents and citizens aware of the need to protect and encourage children.
Under this, an intensive campaign will be launched against child labor and begging. And while rescuing the victims children, strict legal action will be taken against the culprits.
