The Rajasthan government has launched a digital health communication initiative called ‘e‑Swasthya Samvad’.

Key Points

• e-Swasthya Samvad: It is a digital dialogue and video-conferencing platform established by the Medical Education Department.
• Objective: To strengthen governance, transparency and coordination in the state’s medical education and health services.
• Leadership: The initiative has been introduced under the direction of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.
• Mode of Operation: The dialogue sessions will be held twice a week via video conferencing. 
• Two‑Phase Discussion: Sessions are conducted in two phases – first with senior officials and department heads, and second with broader stakeholders and the public.
• Accountability: Officials are required to submit action taken reports within 72 hours.
