Crockery bank launched to make single use plastic free | 08 Dec 2021

On December 7, 2021, Sarpanch Muktilata in Narayanpur Gram Panchayat of Chhattisgarh started a new initiative by opening a utensil bank to free her gram panchayat from single-use plastic.

Under the Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin, meaningful efforts are being made to make the district single-use plastic free, as a result, in Narayanpur gram panchayat of Kunkuri block, the Crockery bank was started by the sarpanch through the Swachhagrahi group with the amount available in the gram panchayat.
Due to which, instead of plastic Dona Pattal, spoons, bowls, disposable glasses, utensils will be used in the social programs organized in the Gram Panchayat.
