Araria Gets ₹545 Crore Boost Under Samriddhi Yatra | 11 Mar 2026

• Recently, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's "Samriddhi  Yatra" reached Araria. 
• He inaugurated several major projects, giving the district a gift of Rs. 545.88 crore. 
  • Inaugurated the state-of-the-art police lines, built at a cost of Rs. 54 crore. 
  • Laid the foundation stone for the renovation of the Kosi Dairy's milk chilling plant and visited exhibitions organized by various departments. 
  • An announcement for a state-of-the-art airport to  be built on 150 acres of land in Forbesganj was also made.
