Anant Rana Completes ‘Full Ironman New Zealand’ triathlon in 11h 50m | 10 Mar 2026

• Anant Rana, a resident of Sonari, achieved the prestigious “Full Ironman” title. 
• Completed one of the world’s toughest triathlons at Taupo, bringing pride to Jamshedpur and Jharkhand. 

About the Event  

• Participated in Ironman New Zealand (3–8 March). 
• Completed all three stages in 11 hours 50 minutes, well within the 17-hour limit: 
  • Swimming (3.8 km): 1 hour 28 minutes 
  • Cycling (180 km): 6 hours 19 minutes 
  • Marathon (42 km): 3 hours 46 minutes
