About UPSC GS Mentorship Programme (Mains) - 2026

After the Prelims result of Civil Services Examination is out, students now have only 2.5 months of preparation, which calls for a more focused, rigorous, and competitive approach from all Mains aspirants.

While the journey may appear challenging, we at Drishti IAS are here to support you through our well-structured dedicated programme of around 75 days, designed to help you prepare effectively and confidently for the Mains examination.

Key Features of the Programme:

  • Regular Answer Writing Tests: Allow you to comprehensively practice your learnings on a regular basis. A total of 50 tests will be conducted during the programme:
    • 6 Essay Tests (Full Length)
    • 24 GS Tests (10 Sectional Tests & 14 Full Length Tests)
    • 4 Compulsory Language Papers (Hindi and English)
  • UPSC Standard Evaluation:We will provide you with a best assessment of your weak and strong areas and detailed feedback of these tests.
  • Qualified & Dedicated Mentors: They will be your pillars of support and will assist you in strategizing your preparation, give feedback on answers that will be a game changer for this exam.
  • Value Enrichment Courses:
    As part of the Comprehensive Mains Mentorship – 2026, the following recorded courses (on Drishti Learning App) will also be provided to the students:

  • Well-Equipped Mentorship Library: Aspirants enrolled in the offline mode gain access to dedicated study libraries at Drishti IAS centres across:
    • Karol Bagh | Noida | Mukherjee Nagar | Prayagraj | Jaipur | Lucknow | Indore

  • Note: Library access is available until the declaration of the CSE Mains – 2026 result. Students who qualify for CSE Mains – 2026 will continue to access mentorship, library access, and associated benefits until CSE Prelims – 2027 (single shift access post-programme).
  • Value-Addition Material:These are UPSC GS Mains Syllabus-based content prepared by an in-house content team. These are comprehensive, holistic yet crisp notes.
  • Current Affairs Consolidation:Students can access Current Affairs Masterclass & its up-to-date current materials that are designed for CSE Mains-2026.
  • Full-Length Simulation Tests:
    • 2 rounds of simulation tests will be conducted at a regular interval to assess the student’s overall performance in a conducive environment as per UPSC Standards.
  • Video Discussion on Tests: You will receive the recorded video lectures of test explanations of GS and Essay Tests.

Availability of the Programme:

This programme  is available in both Offline and Online modes. When it comes to the course structure, there lies no difference between both modes, only the processes.

  • For offline students, we have developed well-equipped libraries at our centres in Karol Bagh, Noida, Mukherjee Nagar, Prayagraj, Jaipur, Lucknow and Indore centres*. The students who join our programme will get to sit in one of these libraries. They will take regular tests at our library and classroom centres, get value-addition notes, participate in doubt-clearing sessions, meet with mentors, etc.
  • For online students, all the facilities will be the same except for the availability of the library and taking tests. All the facilities will be available through the Drishti Learning App (DLA) including tests.

Students who have not appeared in CSE Prelims - 2026 or couldn’t clear it can also take admission by paying the fee applicable for Non-Drishti Students. It is important to note that the library facility for such students will only be available till the last exam (August End) of CSE Mains - 2026.

Notes:

  1. Students seeking Free of Cost admission to this programme as per the fee structure given above are requested to please visit the respective offline centre with required valid documentary proofs.
  2. Online courses don't include the Studio Foundation Course.
  3. Students will be granted access to both library shifts during the Mains Mentorship Programme. However, after the programme concludes, access will be limited to a single shift until the declaration of the Mains 2026 results. 

Admission Process:

This programme is available in both Online (through Drishti Learning App) as well as Offline Mode.

  • Online Mode: The students who want to take admission in Online Mode can buy the Programme related Course from our Drishti Learning App (DLA). The course name is UPSC GS Mentorship Programme (Mains) – 2026
  • Offline Mode: If the student wants to take admission in the Offline Mode of this Programme, then s/he can visit our centre they want to join and take admission by paying the required fee.
