Candidates are advised to take the UPSC Personality Test (or Interview) very seriously. The Personality Test is the final of the 3 stages of the UPSC Civil Services Examination. The marks obtained here determine the final rank and therefore the service allocation of the candidate. As such, here it is important to score as high as possible. The Interview Guidance Programme of Drishti IAS prepares a candidate thoroughly for the UPSC Personality Test.

Our programme adheres to the observations of the Kothari Committee constituted by the UPSC to list the qualities that should be rated in the personality test viz. Clarity of expression; Grasp of narrative and argument; Reasoning ability; Appreciation of different points of view; Awareness and concern for socioeconomic problems; and, Range and depth of interests and personal attributes relevant to interaction with people.

Our Panel will, therefore, rate the candidates on the above-mentioned qualities in the Personality Test.

  1. संस्थान में अभ्यर्थी का प्रवेश उसी सीमा तक वैध रहेगा जब तक वह अनुशासन-संबंधी नियमों का पालन करता है। यदि कोई आवेदक किसी अनुशासनहीनता का दोषी पाया जाता है तो उसे बिना कारण बताए संस्थान से निष्कासित किया जा सकता है।
    Admission of the student will be valid in the institute till he/she follows the disciplinary rules. If any student is found undisciplined in any manner, his/her admission will be cancelled without intimating any reason thereof.
  2. परीक्षाओं के तय कार्यक्रम में निदेशक द्वारा कभी भी परिवर्तन किया जा सकता है।
    The management has the right to change the examination schedule any time.
  3. प्रवेश प्रपत्र पर विद्यार्थी आवेदक द्वारा लगाया जाने वाला फोटोग्राफ संस्थान की संपत्ति होगा और उसका उपयोग विज्ञापन के लिये किया जा सकेगा। विज्ञापन हेतु प्रवेश प्रपत्र तथा इसमें दी गई सूचनाओं का प्रयोग करने के लिये संस्थान अभ्यर्थी से अनुमति लेने के लिए बाध्य नहीं होगा। (यदि अभ्यर्थी के मॉक इंटरव्यू की वीडियो रिकॉर्डिंग कराई जाती है तो संस्थान उस रिकॉर्डिंग का प्रयोग अपनी वेबसाइट या अन्यत्र प्रचार आदि वाणिज्यिक प्रयोगों के लिये कर सकेगा।)
    The photograph affixed in the admission form will be treated as a property of the institute and can be used for advertisement purposes. The institute will not be required to take permission from the applicant to use this admission form or the information given on it for advertisement purposes. If video recording is done for the mock interview, then the institute can use the recording for commercial and promotion purposes on its website or any other medium.
  4. उपरोक्त व अन्य मामलों में प्रबंध निदेशक का निर्णय अंतिम तथा बाध्यकारी होगा।
    The decision of the Managing Director will be final and binding in this regard and in other matters.
  5. किसी भी कानूनी कार्यवाही के लिये दिल्ली क्षेत्र में स्थित न्यायिक संस्थाओं का ही प्रयोग किया जाएगा।
    All disputes would be subject to Delhi jurisdiction only.
